Fab charity looking for website & CMS experience, ideally Drupal, as well as email to manage several exciting projects.
THE COMPANY
Our client is a fantastic national health charity that saves the life of people with cancer. In this role, you will play a vital part in improving and saving people’s lives.
THE ROLE
In the role of Website & Email Manager, you will predominantly focus on the website and be it’s product owner. ensuring content, design,
functionality and user experience meets the needs of supporters as
well as the strategic aims of the organisation.
You will also oversee a team of two managing all email campaigns (automation, user journeys etc).
You will also manage the UAT process internally and manage implementation of
content updates across the website.
This is an exciting time to join the charity – they are planning a brand refresh and there is also a project to reskin the existing website from October to January.
You will manage the CMS implementation of this website refresh, along with defining the scope of possible BAU activity during this time.
As well as managing an external supplier, you will also work with a project manager and an internal tech team so will need excellent stakeholder and project management skills to keep momentum going on all projects and campaigns.
As well as strong technical knowledge, you must also be comfortable implementing and doing basic builds and being responsible for delivering the website updates against the brand refresh timelines.
Line management experience is important.
Candidates must have clear experience of using an enterprise CMS like Drupal or Sitecore or Hubspot (not just WordPress) .
YOU
In order to be successfully considered for the role of Website & Email Manager, you will need:
– significant hands on experience of websites and CMS (Drupal ideally or similar such as Sitecore, Umbraco). Candidates with only experience in WordPress cannot be considered)
– extensive experience and understanding of content production and
publishing tools such as Drupal, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
– expertise in UX, SEO, accessibility
– strategic understanding of user-centred principles and how to apply them
– oversee delivery of effective email campaigns and supporter journeys
– previous experience of Comms automation challenges, to be input into
internal workstream, ideally with DotDigital
YOU MUST ALSO HAVE
– THE ABILITY TO COMMUTE TO LONDON 2 DAYS PER MONTH
– VALID WORKING RIGHTS FOR THE UK
