OnlyOffice is a free and secure open-source office suite for Linux-based operating systems. It is cross-platform as OnlyOffice is available for Windows, Linux, macOS, Android, and iOS. OnlyOffice can be considered as an alternative to Microsoft Office and LibreOffice.

Installing OnlyOffice Suite From Ubuntu 22.04 LTS Software center

Search OnlyOffice in the software center. You can find the two applications, OnlyOffice Desktopeditors and OnlyOffice Desktop server. Select one which you want to install. In this post, we are going to install OnlyOffice desktop editors. Click on the “install” button and wait till OnlyOffice is installed on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS.

Installing OnlyOffice Suite On Ubuntu 22.04 LTS Via Snap

Run the following command to install the OnlyOffice suite on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS via snap.

sudo snap install onlyoffice-desktopeditors

Just in case if you want to uninstall OnlyOffice from Ubuntu 22.04 LTS then run the following command.

sudo apt remove --purge onlyoffice-desktopeditors

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash" Change the above line to: GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash acpi_backlight=vendor" You might be wondering about the changes made by this update. These changes will load device-specific drivers in Linux.
