Good news for Windows users as Ubuntu 20.04 LTS is now officially available on Microsoft store. Ubuntu 20.04 LTS is available to download for free but you need to have a device that is compatible with WLS. You can’t use WSL in Windows 10 S or 32-bit based devices.

Ubuntu 20.04 LTS on Windows allows you to use Ubuntu Terminal and run Ubuntu command line utilities including bash, ssh, git, apt, and many more.
Minimum system requirements:
Windows 10 version 16237.0 or higher
