Insight: Download Ubuntu 18.10 “Cosmic Cuttlefish” Beta
Ubuntu 18.10 Cosmic Cuttlefish Beta is now available for the download. Final beta of Ubuntu 18.10 Desktop, Server, and Cloud editions is available for the public download.
The Ubuntu 18.10 release date set is for October 18th which is going to be the 29th Ubuntu version. Unlike previous version, Ubuntu 18.10 will take less time to install as it is using a lossless data compression algorithm which is being developed by Facebook. Linux kernel 4.18 is loaded in Ubuntu 18.10 Cosmic Cuttlefish.
Ubuntu 18.10 will have a new default theme along with the icon sets. Ubuntu 18.10 Beta comes with GNOME 3.30 desktop environment as default.
Along with Ubuntu 18.10, Other flavours of the Ubuntu like Kubuntu, Lubuntu, Ubuntu Budgie, UbuntuKylin, Ubuntu MATE, Ubuntu Studio, and Xubuntu are also available for the download.
