Ubuntu 21.10 “Impish Indri” Now Open For Development

Development on Ubuntu 21.10 ‘Impish Indri’ has now officially begun and the daily builds are now available for the download. Ubuntu 21.10 is due to be released on October 14, 2021.

We’re pleased to announce that impish is now *open for development*. auto-sync has been enabled and will run soon. As usual, we expect a
large influx of builds and autopkgtests in this initial period, which will cause delays.

April 29 – Toolchain updated

July 01   – Ubuntu Testing Week (optional)

August 09 – Feature freeze, Debian import freeze

August 26- Ubuntu testing week ( Optional)

September 09 – User interface freeze

September 16- Documentation string freeze

September 20 – Beta freeze

September 23- Beta (mandatory)

September 30-  Kernel freeze

October 07-  Final freeze, release candidate

October 14- Final release.
